harlow..harhigh..

past few days in tjc have been pretty relaxing. experienced the pros and cons of staying in my (social) comfort zone. guess what that means. lol. there is a slight sense of detachment, but owell, it doesn't bother me too much. yet.

got to know many people better, most of which are ex-ahsians whom i've rarely spoken too. lectures are pretty slow-paced just as yet, and im tryin to reassure myself that c.maths isnt half as horrendous as what my imagination makes it seem like. looking forward to econs n geog though.

after some not-so-careful consideration, im probably enrolling myself in the chinese culture club.

now let me hear u grimace and say, "eeeeww so cheeeena!"

lol. L.E.P + Chinese Culture Club. haha, i probably seem like a chinese culture worshipper now. butt.. contrary to what ppl think, i actually dn hold avid interest fr the chinese culture.

L.E.P, because i'm banking on my apparent strengths, and i wldn't sacrifice a pet subject for disastrous sciences.. albeit the fact that my appreciation of chinese literary works is still very low.
confession-of-a-clit-student-who-memorizes-to-death-and-then-forgets-everything...

C.C.C, because they offer journalistic activities! hehe so interesting. the drama section is quite a no-no to me, cos i think im not cut out to bawl and emote in frnt of countless pairs of eyes..

FINALLY, a slight idea of what i wanna persue nx: journalism/law/sociology. lol so it's time to chiong for my humans and language. dknow what i take maths c for also.

and.. i've been again reaffirmed smth, people are primarily drawn to alluring physical features. actually, ive mentioned this alot of times in previous entries...but this time.. there's no more resentment. more of acceptance of it as nature's course. and even if u're blessed with a good face, u still end up losing some n winning some... all depends on what one's seeking. just don't place unresonable expectations and life will be happy!

LOL. today i went home with shiyun and i must have been on the verge of sheer insanity. i kept saying freakin ridiculous stuffs like, "lim shiyun, you are a table", "lim shiyun, you are a lamp post", "lim shiyun, you are a bus stop", "lim shiyun, you are a shampoo"..and cldnt stop laughing at myself. eh. self-absorbed in self-amusment i call it. wanna read my newspaper? s-u-r-e! just pluck up the courage to get a little low-down and say, "i am a strand of armpit hair"... and the newspaper is urs.
