no, i don't actually have an uncontrollable urge to exterminate teenage girls
Hi, i can be boring sometimes. And i often sound evil to conceal life's banalities. But i really am a kind and peace-loving creature. That despite the URL. |

seems like everyone's excitedly gearing up for the harry potter movie which opens tomorrow. sigh, i've never understood the appeal of harry potter. the last time i stepped into the cinema to watch the totally hyped-up third installment, i was glad i could still find some solace in my popcorn. hahaha. but i so, so, so wanna watch the exorcism of emily rose! the trailer kinda freaked me out. and it didn't come across as the kind of movie that delivers cheapskate scares in the form of jump scenes and pretentiously dark rooms (where the protagonist will always be dumb enough to NOT on the lights when obviously it is an instinctive thing to do when you step into a pitch-black room with a masked killer following ur footsteps) visit the official site! it kinda freaked me out: www.sonypictures.com/movies/theexorcismofemilyrose/ ![]() totally freaky! i gotta see those convulsions! i've decided. if no one dares to go watch with me, i shall go be this autistic loner and watch alone. hahahahaha. this is too attractive a film to be missed. OH and a preview of jay's si mian chu ge mv came out. fantastic preview! definitely better than the sappy, played-to-death love triangle trash fang wen shan delivered in the shan hu hai mv. ooh, scandalous huh? where's the shy boy the teenage girls so adore? *cues papparazzi frenzy* bored! i need a 3 day job or smth. bored to tears, cash-strapped and unsurprisingly unmotivated. equates to endless hours of stoning in front of the comp. my life is directionless! newsflash: jay won the best newcomer award in the golden horse awards for his role in initial d. lol. yea, i should be so exhilirated right? but i think my excitement is kinda contained this time round. HAHA. cos i'm rational enough to still realize that he did nothing more than just being himself and fixing a cool pose or two throughout the movie. HAHA OH. extra credits for that boyish post-betrayal breakdown. the tears were commendable, i mean it! but that's about it. so yes, i do have my underlying doubts about the credibility of this award. and u thought i lost my sanity already. HAHA. people don't doubt my ability to judge out of nothing: if shiyun were my mum, she wld've beheaded me for blowing $60 on these. lmao. perhaps she has a point there - that photo is compelling evidence of the works of an impulsive shopper. then again i haven't had a chance to go a liberating shopping spree for long. HAI. whatever it is, feelings of remorse did hit me the moment we stepped outta suntec. see, i'm not beyond hope yet. and then we took a photo of ourselves behaving like awkward strangers shoved together for a camera shot: funny? i think it is! lol. nevermind our unconventional sense of humor. nanzai, i've decided not to post ur pic cos it bears no relevance to what im typing currently (no, don't let ur imagination stray and start to think that it's because i find it too ugly for my blog) sorry for dashing your hopes. hah. will that pic on top suffice? on a boring and monotonous sunday afternoon, what do i do (besides replaying those songs to death)? i read my 2004 blog archives. and boy, were they entertaining! it was so fun, deriving a high from all those mindless, http://museum-of-twits.blogspot.com-worthy crap, i repeat, crap i managed to come up with in the past. and i couldn't be more glad i grew out of it. a trip down memory lane: 17/1/2004: "i just can't sort it out.. why are some people so lucky? why did god gave them everything, all the good life experiences and life features. i just don't understand. some people just sit there do nothing and yet they get all the results they do not deserve. some work doubly hard and yet the end result is always something that disappoints. religions probably have an answer to this but i can't be convinced. why do some people get to experience such an exciting lifestyle full of twists and turns, getting whatever they wish for, while some people wait on and on for their opportunities to appear, only to be left empty-handed. we are all humans but why is life so unfair. its sometimes frustrating to see that other people that don't really deserve what they want get whatever you want and what you have left is nothing. u continue to lead a boring life with no changes, no excitement and whatsoever. thats when jealousy comes on uncontrollably. what is this. i'm not complaining about how bad my life is because i know many people have more difficult and frustrating lives to live. but i just cannot accept graciously the fact that some people's life rock so much, where everyday brings new and fresh experiences, while some sit there everyday thinking when are their lives gonna have a new direction, whether someone (they need badly) will come into their life and help them through difficult times and if what they do are going to reap results, whether their efforts are going to be appreciated. it's all too crazy to think about" i don't exactly remember, but the person beside me in class (guess who?) probably got an extra admirer that day or smth. lmao. 25/1/2004: 10 REASONS WHY I LOVE CHRISTINA AGUILERA (not in order of merit) (1) She has the voice. she can hold a note. she has support. she has the bright tone. she can riff. she can drag a note. she has a gift in singing. c'mon u gotta admit it (2) She is real and raw. Breaking free from the genie in a bottle era, she is now the independent and liberated woman she is. She behaves who she is and is not afraid to let the world see her in her stripped, raw and real emotional state (3) She does not believe in discrimination, be in against gender, sexual preferences, races, religions or nationalities. u can't hold her down (4) she is not afraid to express and explore her sexuality, even if it means opposing conservative thinkings and sparking controversies. she is confident of her sexuality and how she expresses it (5) she is versatile. from the innocent genie to the slutty dirrty girl to the gothic fighter. who can hold a candle (6) her songs inspire. just take a look at the lyrics of beautiful (7) she has songwriting talents. she co wrote and composed 12 songs on stripped (8) she changes her image all the time, keeping it fresh for all her fans (9) she has talent. she can host. anyone watched the emas? (10) her name is christina aguilera believe me when i say, im not exactly in the worst state right now, however jay-bedazzled i appear to be. 23/1/2004: what is this beyonce special compared to the mtv europe music awards 2003?? PEanUts, that is! the whole thing rocked. cos its hosted by my christina darlin. hahaha. anyone saw it?! i think the best performance came from beyonce. the fire dancing and men stepping. the atmosphere was like explosive even from TV. imagine what it wud've been like right there in edinburgh. christina rocks.. even with that fake ghetto accent.. and i tink i lurve sean paul too! his braided hair looks very cool all i can say is, im so so so very glad that i ceased referring to anyone as a 'darling' after that entry. and i always thought i had absolutely nothing in common with the wide-eyed friendster community. guess i was a teeny-weeny bit wrong. will i cause chaos to ensue on my tagboard if the expression "jay darling" ever pops up in one of my entries? lmao. i guess the labelling game will start all over again, but anyone who intends to do so wld've probably forgotten that i've idolized christina aguilera, maia lee, jessica simpson, ashlee simpson and nelly furtado just as much. =D 21/1/2004: haPpY nEw yEaR! [ =( ] what was i thinking?! -shudders- 15/2/2004: i read a quote somwhere i forgot where "in this world we are livin in society screws up our thinkings and actions in one way or another such that no one dies a virgin" my cousin's thing reminded me of this quote. anyone agrees? for me im not too sure but it really seems true sometimes i was this impressionistic little boy then. thankfully i managed to save myself. this quote was probably 50% made up by me to make it sound more controversial. how pathetic. and i proudly declare that i still stand a chance to die a virgin! yay! 13/2/2004: it all boils down to 3 woRds like qz said: "wo ye yao - don let jealousy get over you" ahh but its so difficult to!! seems lyk there are so many things, so many stuffs, so many people.... its not anione's problem. juz how life goes? haha maybe im just not contented enuff. or wat i duno. sum1 enlighten me. ok im tryin to contain.. contain.. take a deep breath. tell myself my life is great enough. my life rocks n kicksass.. there are so mani pple dian di-ing for me. ok do i feel better? LMAO. how the hell did i manage to spew out crap of this calibre! the person sitting beside me probably got yet another admirer within the month, i figure. 30/3/2004: what if you come to realize you only have one more day to live on this world. what would you do? i tried picturin tt in my mind n i fantasized. nobody wants to die with regrets, duh, but i guess i will. so many stuffs left unsaid but i don wanna irritate. what i wanted to say was probably, ahhh! life is so unfair! why is he getting yet ANOTHER admirer?!?! LOL ok im done with my trip down memory lane. i'm so glad i have less angst and more positivity right now. i love my life now. i feel so blessed. (and no, that has got nothing to do with me getting an admirer finally, or whatsoever!) (for the 2045 peeps: the scoresheet still stands at 0-0 now!) whenever i feel im scatterbrained i'll start to blog like this: ONE, im really psyched up for my taiwan trip in december! ('psyched' and 'giggly' are officially the two most overused words in my blog) all that excitement, not just coming from the prospect of sweeping every single jay merchandise in sight, but also from the fact that there will only be around 5 lectures throughout our 15 day stay! how cool (actually, hypocritical) is that? so much for an educational immersion, but it's not like anyone's complaining? heh. i do hope im rational enough to bring home more than just a mountain of jay merchandise though. TWO, but there exists the probability that all my plans will be foiled. why? u gotta hand it to me for losing my passport. yes. ive been searching high and low for it and it's nowhere to be seen. i think im pathetic. a replacement passport can be made within three days but it's an astronomical one-hundred-and-ten-bucks. here goes, another excuse for my parents to cut my taiwan trip allowance by a hundred bucks. it's the perfect opportunity. lol. mok, can u like get your wand and potion out and help me out? ok not funny. THREE, read the article that nanzai excitedly recommended yesterday, which i presume will further intensify her admiration for him (lol, im really trying to be nice here) inspiring? yea, influential in a sense that the article is yet another reaffirmation that u're simply not doing yourself justice if u forcibly cling on to something u resent. been a hypocrite for long enough..that A doesn't really mean anything to me. one final year. FOUR, call me a wimp (like you always do), but i really think i have a phobia of (my own) blood. as much as i have this strange affinity with movie gore, the sight of my deep red blood filling up an entire tube still gives me those horrible, dizzy spells. went for a blood test on friday and gawsh, it was a terrible experience! i should be glad that i didn't faint on the spot and break off half the needle together with the fall. don't laugh at me - there's a professional, profound sounding medical term attached to it: hemophobia, they call it! FIVE, im really inspired to play around with words like vincent fang. he's the only person that can make me think that poems are indeed more than just profound words jumbled up together, made barely comprehensible only through lecture notes given out by teachers. (how sad it that?...) but back to the point about his ingenious lyrics.. i'm always awe-struck when he manages to come up with something like, "红尘醉,微醺的岁月,我用无悔,刻永世爱你的碑" yea, cheesy as it sounds, they really sorta redefine the word 'cheena' for me. i'm a little more consoled when i find out that fa ru xue ranks as the best song off the album for many people. so hulu, perhaps u can start viewing that string of la er la er la er la er la from a different angle. my bad, for reminding you that a troupe of chinese dancers wld fit nicely into the context of that line. lol. SIX, Insights and Reflections! arrrrgghhhhhhhhhhhhh. it's as though the examinors badly need some affirmation that we students, have indeed gained alot of insights from a year of mind numbing PW. it's FREAKIN BORLIAO! ARGH. if i'm feeling rebellious i might just indicate that i've learnt the value of persistence because sadly, PW is mandatory and accounts for 10% of university admission, and therefore students have no choice but to grudgingly conform. hey, isn't it kinda true? |
