i feel so proud to have graduated....TRUST MEEE!!
im thankful that chem prac wasn't all that disastrous, nevermind if im overly optimistic. such optimism has been developed thru the getting of a very grand 22/40 during the prelim practicals.
unlike the last time, oxygen was so easily tested. i love hydrogen peroxide.. saves me all the trouble of wetting litmus papers... searching high and low for that significant drop of potassium dichromote to drip on the filter paper... but being able to test for oxygen's not to say that the entire thing was THAT smooth sailing. like. when i pipetted 25cm2 of P.. it immediately became black in the beaker. the good thing about practical exams is that all the candidates are within close proximity and preventive measures to stop us frm cheating are pretty lax. so.... i managed to find out that P was actually colourless..... physics practical up next. cheating is possible too, i look forward to it. graduation day was torturous. this supposedly tear-jerking event only managed to leave me dehydrated in my seat. all the emotive sentimentality that shouldve been there were clearly wiped away by hour-long speeches that sound as if they were taken from forum pages of lian he zao bao. i cannot fathom why they can manage to churn out literary phrases and o-so-philosophical paragraphs on and on. they are clealy oblivious to the students below suffering frm dry spells and angmoh peaches on stage looking like they can fall off the chair and doze off on the floor ala mr bean anytime. what's with that reverend whoever...with the refined phrases and assertive intonation i wld expect some cheemolology analogies frm him, but when i piece together his very WOW-SO-THOUGHT-PROVOKING sentences.. they all reduce to one thing...... senseless crap packaged nicely to not sound so senseless. its a hear-it-to-believe thing, so sec 1s and 2s.. count urself very lucky. acting retarded and posing the signature "nggeahhhhh" style with the organs was wayy more lighthearted. argh. its advisable to pon such a event. its horrible. silver lining? its the first and last graduation ceremony i'll have =) whoohoo sgidol results in 10 mins. go leandra go go (out) i mean. |
