CIP today was pretty fun, just too early at 7:45. went around with mon chhi chi from geylang to tampines to pasir ris selling flags for some prophet muhammad fund for needy students. ok despite slacking for close to an hr and a half sitting at coffee bean and mac, managed to close in about half a can's worth of coins and a few notes yea..
time in: 7:45am time out: 11:55am location: geylang, tamp, pasir ris smallest donation: 5 cents largest donation: $5 estimated mean donation: 50 cents most charitable people: aunties in their 50s least charitable people: teens that look arnd 20 (duh) most straightfoward rejection: auntie, would u want to donate? Auntie (without looking at me): DON WAN funniest donater: an ah peh in his 60s, who pasted the sticker on his buldging tummy, den walked away laughing at me with his cheekopeh look most irritable moment: 2 yalam girls purposely walked in front of me along a pathway to ask for donations from people first, perhaps to spite me, or because they wanna feel superior. sweetest taste of victory: the 2 yalam girls let slip of 3 people whom they thought wouldn donate. and they walked forward to donate to me most generous auntie: donated $2 each to me and monchhichi. and did that automatikally smiles flashed and thank yous said: certainly above 100 number of people who asked what charity organization this was for: 4 number of donaters who actualli communicated with us (eg asked us wat sch we were frm..blabla): 3-4 number of (suspected) prostitues seen in geylang: 2 biggest regret: not going to pasir ris earlier friends made: 1 sec 1 boy from duno what school. haha.. distributing some NKF booklet estimated total sum of donation: $40-$50 stickers left: over a 100 grade obtained: fair CIP hours awarded: 3 Actual CIP hours: 4 number of couples who donated: 0 ratio of men to women donaters: 1:4 ok enough. hehee. competition today for CDS. hope dey get into finals! good luck. so far haven't heard of any.. news yet. nvm shall ask later |
