heh so yesterday went to parliament house. very nice wor. heard 4B people said it was gonna be boring, but i thought totally otherwise. so interesting. i mean we got to see so many fun and new things we've never seen before.
-> security checks haha so cute. we had to like remove everything from our pockets before passing through the metal detector(or smth like that). lol it was so freakin funny to see people going through the detector and for whatever reason, the alarm activated. shijia passed through the detector and the alarm started beeping. lol. turns out she had a comb in her pocket. how stupid is that!..-_- -> starstruck should i say starstruck or minister-struck? haha.. saw many cabinet ministers in the strangers gallery.. zhang zhi xian.. lee hsien loong..etcetc..debating about stuffs like low birthrates..replacing A levels with polytechinics.. very interesting. noticed one of the ministers sleeping. ooh even ministers doze off in talks. hard to imagine ->simultaneous translation the live translators are officially my idols now. very pro. live translation in 3 different languages with a lag of only a few seconds. i wonder what makes up the brains of these translaters. gotta be very pro at multitasking ->HUIYI when we entered the viewing gallery where the ministers were speaking we were supposed to bow as a form of respect to a woman sitting at the highest position(i forgot the name of the post). she was the woman who will forsee the whole thing. we were also supposed to bow as we left. and guess what. huiyi bowed at the SPEAKER!! lol~~~~ a v.e.r.y respectful bow in fact. which means the bow was very obvious. i was laughing like mad and so was qz. BUT I COULDN'T MAKE A NOISE! so i tried v hard to contain my excitement. but unfortunately, i still let out giggles. which brings me to the next point ->EYE CONTACT i guess the ministers noticed me laughing away like mad for more than a minute. i jus could not control myself..lol. and two of them looked up at me!! i was so MINISTER-STRUCK! ok lol though it was a fierce and stern eye contact session. that's when i was realized i was being irrespectful to the speaker, laughing when he's talking about education policies. hahaa so maloo den i stopped laughing. but as soon as i got out of the gallery, i started laughing again. thanks huiyi for making my day full of laughs. ....ROFL @_@ and so went to eat dinner with kewzee at 85. long time never eat dinner at 85. rocked. and i deliberately missed a bus. rocked. qz sheesh u had me tricked for 3 months u aa king! lol~ went home and mugged but i guess i'll do pretty badly for today's chem test. my mind jus couldn't work right. sighz. bad.. must study harder for friday's physics test. strive for at least an a2. a1 better. everybody please hail the AA king lin qinzhi! lol.. everyone in 4g knows what i'm talking about. that wondeful san wen topic qz might be writing on for flying eagles aka fei ying. lOl. sheeesh. i mus stardee hard 2day for my feesicks. my worst subject.
